- Schedule: Approximately 20 days per month
- Coverage: Clinical hours plus 24-hour call

Requirements- Board-certified OB/GYN
- Active Missouri medical license or IMLC eligibility
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
- Comfortable providing primarily solo OB/GYN coverage
- Proficient in routine and complicated deliveries
- Proficient in major operative gynecology
Clinical Details- Approximately 600 annual deliveries
- No dedicated laborist program
- Required experience:
- Low- and high-risk pregnancy management - Fetal heart-rate interpretation - Vaginal deliveries - Cesarean-section decision-making and performance - Multiple births and placental abruptions - Major gynecologic surgery- Preferred experience:
- VBAC management - OB ultrasound - Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations - Open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery- Support includes:
- 24/7 CRNA and respiratory therapy - Surgical first assistant - Minimum of two Labor and Delivery RNs - Two NICU RNs - One OB technician - Three midwives providing backup as scheduled
