Oncology Hospitalist Opening in Knoxville, TN About this Opportunity: Full-Time Employment BC/BE Seeking an Oncology Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient care for adults with solid Äëtumor and hematologic malignancies. This role will focus on the acute management of hospitalized oncology patients, treatment Äërelated complications, and coordination with oncology subspecialists to ensure seamless transitions of care. Comprehensive on-the-job oncology training and ongoing clinical support Dedicated full-time inpatient APP to support patient care Close collaboration with medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, palliative care, pharmacy and nursing. Inpatient Oncology Management Äî Diagnose and treat acute issues including neutropenic fever, tumor lysis syndrome, sepsis, pain crises, and treatment toxicities. Admissions & Rounds Äî Perform admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning for oncology patients. Communication & Documentation Äî Maintain clear communication with outpatient oncologists and provide timely documentation. Quality & Safety Äî Participate in quality initiatives, morbidity and mortality reviews, and evidence Äëbased protocol development. Teaching & Mentorship Äî Involvement in APP education.
