Assignment Details
• Start/end: ASAP, ongoing
• Schedule: Approximately 6-10 shifts/month; must be available for overnights and weekends with day shifts included
• Coverage type: Emergency Medicine; no call
• Volume: 15-20 patients/shift depending on 8- vs 9-hour shift
• Setting: 28-bed Emergency Department
• Support: 2-3 RNs, 1-2 APPs, office support, and 24/7 anesthesia, surgery, lab, radiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, vascular surgery, cath lab, and cardiothoracic surgery
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: 90-120 days; temporary privileges available
Clinical Details
• Required scope: Full-scope Emergency Medicine
• Admissions required
• Primary coverage in Avon with potential coverage in Carmel as needed
• Cerner experience preferred
Requirements
• Emergency Medicine residency trained
• ABEM certified
• License: active IN license or IMLC
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
