Job Requirements
- Board certification required
- Active state medical license required, or willingness to obtain through IMLC
- DEA registration required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- At least 1 year of relevant radiation oncology experience required
- HDR experience required or strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-volume oncology environment
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation oncology consultations and ongoing patient management
- Deliver care for approximately 3 new consults per day
- Oversee treatment days for patients receiving radiation therapy
- Collaborate with radiation therapists, APPs, and RNs to support safe, efficient care
- Evaluate and manage adult oncology patients throughout treatment planning and follow-up
- Utilize HDR expertise as part of the clinical workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation and workflow within Cerner
- Contribute to a patient-centered, team-based cancer care environment
