Job Requirements
- Board certification required
- Fellowship training in breast imaging or a related radiology subspecialty required
- Strong proficiency in screening mammography and diagnostic mammography
- Experience with breast ultrasound and breast MRI
- Skilled in image-guided procedures, including biopsies, localizations, and aspirations
- Working knowledge of BI-RADS and MQSA requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient or clinic-based environment
- Excellent patient communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site breast imaging interpretation and procedural support
- Read screening and diagnostic mammography studies accurately and efficiently
- Interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI exams
- Perform and assist with biopsies, localizations, and aspirations
- Communicate findings and procedures clearly with patients
- Collaborate with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams
- Support same-day diagnostic workups and timely clinical decision-making
- Maintain high standards for reporting quality and breast imaging protocols
