Position Highlights
- Specialty: Pediatric General Surgery
- Schedule: Typically 2-3 clinic days and 1-2 surgical days per week; clinic hours Monday through Friday
- Call: Shared call, 1:3 rotation
- Patient Volume: 6-10 patients per clinic day; average 5-8 surgeries per week
- Practice Setting: Medical office building adjacent to hospital for seamless care coordination
- Facility: 110-bed pediatric hospital, including 40-bed general pediatric unit, 16-bed PICU, and newly built 30-bed Level IV NICU
- Support Resources: Board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists on staff, pediatric hospitalists, and 24/7 in-house neonatologist coverage
- Subspecialty Depth: On-site pediatric subspecialists spanning cardiology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and more

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Surgery
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
