Job Responsibilities:
- Coverage Type:
- Call only coverage
- Full spectrum OB/GYN care, including both inpatient and outpatient services
- Round on assigned patients, ensuring continuity of care
- Patient Load:
- Manage up to 25 patients per shift
- Work within a department with 20 beds dedicated to OB/GYN services
- Procedures:
- Perform admissions as required
- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services, including labor and delivery, prenatal care, and gynecological surgeries as needed
Candidate Requirements:
- Licensure:
- Must be licensed in Alabama
- Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
- Board Certification:
- Minimum requirement is board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship is not required
