We are currently seeking a dedicated Hematology and Oncology Physician for locum tenens coverage near Arrey, NM. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, state-of-the-art outpatient facility.

Work Schedule:
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Call Requirements: Some call during weekdays shared with employed providers. Calls generally involve:
- Questions from RNs about patients
- Patients undergoing chemotherapy
- Minimal consults from the Emergency Department
Patient and Staff Details:
- Patients per Shift: Up to 17
- Support Staff:
- 1 Medical Assistant
- Several Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Pharmacy support for educational starts for chemotherapy
- Additional Facilities: Co-located with radiation oncology
Job Requirements:
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- License: Must have an active state license in New Mexico
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Experience: Fellowship preferred, but not mandatory
