Details:
- Flexible Availability: We welcome providers with sporadic availability, offering opportunities on an as-needed basis to accommodate your schedule.
- Coverage Options: Choose between traveling to perform exams at a leased facility and/or scheduling appointments within your own practice, providing you with autonomy and flexibility.
- Compensation: Providers will be compensated per exam conducted, ensuring fair reimbursement for your valuable services.
- Exam Types: Conduct Initial PTSD exams, follow-up PTSD exams, and other mental health evaluations to address the diverse needs of our veteran population.
- DMA Certification: Certification is available with the opportunity to earn CME credits. Obtain certification if not already privileged.
- Equipment: Utilize your personal laptop (NO MACs) during examinations for efficient documentation and reporting.
- Reporting: Submit completed Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours upon exam completion, focusing on standardized form(s) completion rather than narrative reports.
- Evaluation Process: Utilize the provider portal for efficient completion of evaluations and documentation.
- Record Review: Active participation in record reviews is required to maintain comprehensive patient assessments and documentation.
- Certification Requirements: Board certification in Psychiatry is mandatory for all applicants.
- State License Requirements: Applicants must possess a valid medical license in the state of California.
