Job Overview:
- Profession: Hospitalist
- Coverage Start Date: March
- Schedule Options:
- Prefer 7 on/7 off availability
- Minimum 4-5 shifts at a time for continuity
- Daytime coverage: 7a-7p
- Facility Details:
- EMR: Meditech
- Number of Beds: 22
- No ICU beds (intubation and central line placement skills preferred for emergencies)
- Daily Census: 8 Acute/4-6 Swing
- Specialty Coverages: Cardiology, General Surgery, PRN Pulm, Nephrology
- Physician Shifts: 7am-7pm (single)
- APP Shifts: 7pm-7am (single)
- Procedures Required:
- Intubation
- Central lines for emergencies
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certification:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) - REQUIRED
- Procedural Logs:
- Procedural logs reflecting Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents within the past 12 months - REQUIRED
- License:
- Active WV License at the time of name clear - REQUIRED
- Certifications:
- COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED
- BLS/ACLS/NRP - REQUIRED
- Clean Credentials:
- Clean license, DEA, and background, no malpractice - REQUIRED
