Candidates must be fellowship-trained in Breast Surgery, and an additional advantage would be a background in oncoplastics. It stands as the only facility of its kind in Mississippi, offering groundbreaking Intraoperative Radiation Therapy that allows for cancer removal and simultaneous radiation treatment, potentially reducing or eliminating the need for additional radiation sessions. Services such as KUBTEC, Digital Mammography, Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS), and stereotactic biopsies further contribute to the comprehensive and advanced care provided.
