What You ll Do
- Conduct psychological assessments based on clinical interviews and review of records
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
- Perform routine rounds in confinement areas to assess mental health status
- Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, medical staff, and security personnel
- Contribute to the development and delivery of mental health programs aligned with facility needs
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with facility protocols
What You Need
Required: - Active or current license or board eligibility in psychology within Mississippi
- BLS certification (meeting compliance requirements)
- At least 2 years of clinical psychology experience in a relevant setting
Preferred: - Experience working in correctional or controlled environment settings
- Knowledge of psychological counseling techniques applicable to inmate populations
