My client in NC is seeking an experienced ABEM certified MD to work in the Emergency Department. Providers must have practiced Emergency Medicine in the past 12 months. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled start date for orientation.Coverage Needed: July 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,9, 19, 11, 13, 15 (8a-8p)July 4, 7, 8, 26, 27 (8p-8a)August 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 24, 29 (8a-8p)August 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 (8p-8a) Required certifications if NOT EM trained (no exceptions): ACLS, ATLS & PALS Highlights include: Opportunity to work within a well-established healthcare systemAverage # patient volume: 45-53 patients/24-hour periodAverage visits annually: 18,000EHR is EPIC24-hour Hospitalist and Radiology coverageStaffing model includes an APP from 10a to 10p
