- Schedule: Every 5th weekend - Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 5:00 AM
- Job Setting: Inpatient - Mercy Hospital Washington; 16 beds (8 LDRP, 8 Couplet/GYN)
- Coverage Type: Call Only (Beeper); Call Ratio 1:4; 30-minute call response time required
- EMR System: Epic
- Average Deliveries Per Year: 750
- Patients Per Shift: 0-3 patients seen; 0-2 admissions; 0-5 phone consults
- Types of Cases:
- Low and high risk pregnancy management
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB Ultrasounds - Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted
- Amniocentesis
- Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps, C-section decision-making
- Complicated deliveries: C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP
- Surgical gynecology: open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major
- Credentialing: Estimated 90 days; temporary privileges available
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certified preferred
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
- Licensure: Active Missouri (MO) license required; IMLC not accepted
- Fellowship: Required
- Additional Requirements: Clean NPDB and active Malpractice history required at time of submission
