MyMichigan Alpena is seeking a Radiation Oncologist (MD/DO) to provide temporary locum coverage due to the retirement of a full time physician. Coverage is needed until a permanent provider is recruited, offering continuity of care in a well established cancer program.

• 99% Outpatient 1% Inpatient
  • Inpatient responsibilities limited to infrequent consults
• Scope includes:
  • New consults
  • Follow up visits
  • Weekly on treatment visits
• Weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards required

• 3 days per week
• 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Tuesday Thursday preferred

• Weeknight call only
• Call coverage required on onsite working days
• No weekend call

• CT Simulation
• IGRT
• IMRT
• VMAT
• SBRT
• SRS
• HDR

• No APP support

• EMR: Epic
• Dictation: Dragon

• MD or DO in Radiation Oncology
• BLS certification
• Case logs required:
  • Must demonstrate primary or consultative radiation oncology services for at least 25 patients within the past 12 months

• Established cancer center with consistent patient volume
• Predictable part time weekly schedule
• Minimal inpatient responsibility
• Essential coverage role with continuity until permanent hire
