What You ll Do
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical evaluations, stabilization, and treatment for diverse acute conditions
- Manage and oversee high-acuity, time-sensitive cases in the Emergency Department
- Perform and support emergency procedures within scope of practice
- Coordinate patient care with nursing, specialists, and support staff to ensure safe and timely dispositions
- Document clinical care accurately in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Contribute to maintaining safety, quality, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
What You Need
- Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in the state of California
- Certification in ABEM or AOBEM, BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience
- Completion of an accredited 3-year Emergency Medicine residency program
- Proven experience in high-volume Level 1 Trauma Centers or equivalent setting
- Academic experience and publications preferred, along with membership in relevant medical societies
