What You ll Do
- Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments in correctional facilities
- Diagnose and treat common eye conditions
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses
- Document patient evaluations and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high standards of care
- Comply with facility policies and safety protocols
- Educate patients on eye health and wellness
What You Need
Required: - Valid optometry license in South Carolina
- Prior experience in optometry preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred: - Experience working in correctional or federal healthcare settings
