Ongoing coverage: One week per month (5-7 shifts)
Shift Details Monday-Friday or Monday-Sunday scheduling available
Day + Night Shift available
Requirements Board Certified
Required Procedures / Skills US biopsies
Mammography biopsies
Renals
Various CT biopsies
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Breast MRI
Stereotactic breast biopsies
Ultrasound-guided biopsies
Drain placement procedures
Fluoroscopy studies
Mammography is a plus but not mandatory
Assignment Details Procedures vary day to day, RAs perform most procedures
APP supervision required
Workload: 80-100 reads
50% plain films, 50% cross-sectional imaging
Support: 6 RNs daily & 3 RRAs daily
Physician and RAs huddle in the morning to discuss procedures scheduled for the day
The team determines procedure assignments and proceeds accordingly
Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Outpatient & Inpatient
