Hematology/Oncology Physician

DocStar Medical Partners is currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician for a full-time locum opportunity in Richmond, Indiana , beginning December 1, 2026 .

Opportunity Highlights:

• Location: Richmond, IN, with coverage at nearby satellite locations
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• Schedule: Tuesday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Monday: Off/Admin Day
• Coverage Needed: Full-time 4 weeks per month
• Patient Volume: Approximately patients per day
• Case Mix: 35% Hematology / 65% Oncology
• Call: Rotating night and weekend call
  • Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM
  • Call includes primary physician rotation and backup to APPs
  • Physician is generally available by phone and comes into the hospital if needed
• Satellite Coverage:
  • Location 1: Wednesdays
  • Location 2 (30 min away): 1st & 3rd Thursdays
• Telemedicine: No

Requirements:

• Active Indiana license or IMLC eligibility
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (certification within 5 years of residency)
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
• Case logs required

The facility is specifically seeking a physician who can provide consistent full-time coverage for 4 weeks each month and participate in the call rotation.
