What You ll Do
- Provide primary and specialty care services within scope of practice and privileges
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute, chronic, and preventive health needs
- Perform patient examinations, screenings, immunizations, and routine procedures
- Recognize emergency conditions, provide immediate treatment, and refer complex cases
- Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and immunizations following protocols
- Promote preventive medicine, health education, and patient self-management
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and families, maintain infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement activities and staff training
What You Need
Required: - Degree/Education: Bachelor's degree. Graduate from an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
- Certifications: Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician s Assistants (NCCPA).
- Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
- Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
