What You ll Do

Manage an inpatient/adult observation patient population, approximately 8-10 patients daily
Respond to codes and rapid response calls
Assist with ventilator management and care for step-down patients
Stabilize critically ill patients and facilitate transfers to higher-level care
Document patient encounters using Cerner Community Works EMR and AI scribe support
Collaborate with nursing, ED, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care
Contribute to a welcoming, friendly environment at a small community hospital

What You Need
Required:

Valid Physician Assistant license in Vermont
2+ years of inpatient/acute care experience
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to handle high-acuity patients and respond to emergencies

Preferred:

Ventilator management experience
Experience in a community hospital setting
