CRNA Opportunity in Maine
seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a dynamic Anesthesia team
Status: Full-time, Monday-Friday, No call
Pay: $275,000-$310,000
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage anesthesia for various types of surgeries and medical procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories and determining appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall well-being during surgery.
- Respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies related to anesthesia.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery.
- Educate patients and their families regarding anesthesia risks and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Meditech (EMR) documentation required.
- 3 OR suites, endoscopy suite and OB unit, surgical specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, OB/GYN and children over 2 years of age.
- Must be proficient in endoscopies and labor epidurals.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Licensed to practice as a CRNA in the state of Maine.
- Master s degree in Nurse Anesthesia or equivalent program.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations calmly and efficiently
