Opportunity:Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Trauma
Job Details:- Full-time Nocturnist role providing advanced overnight trauma and acute care surgical services
- Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery cases, and inpatient care
- Perform patient evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Maintain all documentation and clinical workflows utilizing Epic EMR
- Practice autonomously while managing multiple complex tasks appropriately
- Support quality, safety, and performance metrics of the Trauma Surgery service
- Engage in professional development and potential leadership opportunities
- Minimum of two (2) years of trauma surgery experience required; completion of a surgical fellowship highly preferred
- Must be a graduate of an accredited PA program with a Master's degree in PA Studies
- NCCPA Certification required with no exceptions
- Must hold an unrestricted Colorado Physician Assistant license
- BLS certification required with no exemptions
- Must be eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
- Must have no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
- Visa sponsorship not available; J-1 and H-1B visas not accepted
