Cardiology Physician Assistant

A high-support acute-care hospital is seeking an experienced NP or PA for inpatient Cardiology coverage beginning January 2027.

• Start: January 11, 2027

• Assignment: Ongoing; primary need through July 2027

• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Weekend-only coverage is the biggest need

• Full-time weekday coverage also available

• Inpatient General Cardiology

• Strong 1:1 APP-to-MD support

• Epic EMR

• Adult patient population
  

• Round on General Cardiology patients

• Floor and stepdown rounding

• Approximately 8 12 patients/day

• CCU coverage available for appropriately experienced providers

• Advanced heart failure coverage available based on experience

• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Complete documentation and orders in Epic by end of day

• NP/APRN or PA/NCCPA

• Board certification

• Active DEA

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiology experience as an APP

This is a strong fit for an APP looking for a structured inpatient Cardiology environment with excellent physician support, predictable 10-hour day shifts, and flexibility for weekend-only or weekday coverage.
