Job Summary:
This ICU (Intensive Care Unit) RN position is located in the Springfield, MA area. The role involves providing care in a 32-bed Medical ICU that is licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients, with a focus on complex cases such as sepsis, ESRD, AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure. The position includes a float component to cover Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC units, offering an opportunity for experienced ICU nurses to contribute to a dynamic and high-acuity environment. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a contracted minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/09/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in NIHSS, BLS, ACLS (Both through American Heart Association), 1+ years of experience in a Level 1 ICU, or 2+ years of ICU experience preferred, including recent MICU background.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in MICU setting, strong ICU background.
- Additional Information: This position is for highly skilled ICU nurses with a strong clinical background. Candidates with less than 1 year of ICU experience or recent graduates may not meet the clinical demands of this role. Candidates must demonstrate clinical competency, critical thinking, and the ability to handle high-acuity cases.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
