Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor nurse in a medical-surgical unit located at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing care to a diverse patient population in a short stay unit focused on observation and recovery, often lasting 24-48 hours. The role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Must have experience in a Level 1 trauma center and a background working in medical-surgical specialty units. No prior experience required beyond this.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a short stay or observation unit is advantageous.
- Additional Information: No travel or float rotation required for this position. Applicants should be available to start on or before 10/19/2026 and commit through 01/31/2027.
