We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join an innovative healthcare organization focused on transforming primary care through a patient-centered, relationship-based, proactive, and team-oriented model of care.

This opportunity offers more than a traditional Family Medicine role. The physician will have the opportunity to practice full-spectrum Family Medicine, contribute to the future of rural healthcare, and participate in the development of a new residency training program focused on primary care and culturally appropriate care delivery.

The organization is also planning a major primary care remodel and future wellness center expansion designed to further support integrated, community-focused healthcare services.

The Practice

The physician will provide comprehensive Family Medicine services across the full spectrum of care, from pediatric through geriatric patients.

Prenatal care experience is preferred but not required.

In addition to outpatient Primary Care, the physician will function as a member of the medical staff with Emergency Department and Hospitalist responsibilities, providing an opportunity to maintain a broad clinical skill set.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive Family Medicine care from pediatric through geriatric populations
  • Diagnose, prevent, treat, maintain, and rehabilitate patients as a senior attending physician
  • Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic, urgent care, and hospital settings
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, vaccinations, and other appropriate medical treatments
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
  • Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records
  • Clearly explain diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans to patients
  • Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Serve as a clinical resource for fellow Primary Care providers
  • Participate in medical staff committees and organizational initiatives
  • Participate in quality, safety, and patient engagement activities
  • Function as a member of the medical staff, including Emergency Department and Hospitalist responsibilities
  • Perform additional duties consistent with training and experience
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Graduate of an accredited U.S. medical school or equivalent foreign medical school meeting ECFMG requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
  • Board Eligible required
  • Board Certification preferred
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state recognized by the Federation of State Medical Boards
Preferred Experience
  • Experience utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Commitment to patient-centered and culturally competent care
  • Interest in quality improvement and healthcare innovation
  • Experience or interest in collaborative, team-based models of care
  • Prenatal care experience preferred but not required
