Job Details:
Provide on-site Radiation Oncology coverage with regular daylight in-house dutiesRegular hours on-site: Inpatient consultation weekdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PMSee patients in office as neededOversee scheduled radiation treatments with required on-site presence during all radiation treatment sessionsRound and consult on inpatients as neededDocument all patient contact hours including new consults, follow-up visits, treatment planning for new patients, and on-treatment weekly visits (OTV)Perform and/or oversee Brachytherapy procedures including intracavitary, interstitial, vascular/endovascular, LDR low dose rate, and LDR high dose rateAdminister External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) including linear accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, electrons, tomotherapy, and superficial/orthovoltage techniquesApply advanced radiation techniques including conventional/conformal therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), CyberKnife, Gamma Knife, IORT, TBI, TSE, and hyper altered fractionationConduct treatment planning including conventional planning, beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI image fusion, electronic portal imaging, and clinical trialsBoard certification required with minimum board certification eligibilityActive ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications requiredFacility:
