Locums - Cadillac, Michigan, OB/GYN Opening
Clinical Role
- ASAP start
- Ongoing need
- Seeking 2 OB/GYN physicians
- Approximately 3-6 days of coverage per month
- 100% inpatient/hospital-based practice
- Must be comfortable practicing independently in a rural setting
Schedule & Call
- 24-hour call coverage, typically 7:00 am-7:00 am
- Coverage days vary
- Beeper/phone call
- 1:5 call ratio
- Callback volume varies
- Must be willing to provide coverage in Cadillac, Gaylord, and Charlevoix, Michigan
Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations
- Broad-scope OB/GYN coverage
- Routine vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- Management of obstetric emergencies
- Trauma Level I and Level II settings
- Oracle EMR
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board Certified in OB/GYN required
- Active Michigan medical license required
- Candidates requiring licensure will not be considered
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, EFM, NRP, and DEA required
- Broad-scope OB/GYN experience, including routine deliveries, C-sections, and management of obstetric emergencies in a rural setting
- No fellowship required
- Michigan residents preferred
