Locums - Belton, Missouri, Emergency Medicine Opening
Clinical Role
- Start date: December 10, 2026
- 3-month contract
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with Emergency Medicine experience will also be considered
- All experience levels considered if board certified
Schedule & Coverage
- Physician shifts include:
- 7:00 am-5:00 pm
- 1:00 pm-11:00 pm
- 9:00 pm-7:00 am
- 7:00 pm-7:00 am
- 7:00 am-7:00 pm
- Must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
- Physician staffing varies by shift
Practice Setting & Patient Volume
- Average patient census: 81
- Approximately 12% ER admission rate
- Higher volume of Level 4 and 5 patients
- Higher-acuity patients may require intubations and central lines
- ICU available
- Neurology and psychiatric telemedicine/robot support
- No pediatric, plastics, neuro-interventional radiology, cath lab, or OB support

- All standard Emergency Medicine procedures
- Intubations
- Central lines
Requirements
- Board certification required
- Active Missouri license required
- ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
