OB/GYN Locum Physician Opportunity

Join an esteemed healthcare facility in Owosso, Michigan, where you will play a vital role as an OB/GYN Locum Physician. This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center dedicated to providing high-quality care and patient-centered services. You will be responsible for inpatient call coverage during scheduled gaps, primarily supporting labor and delivery services.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery coverage and emergency department OB/GYN call support.
- Perform phone triage for patients as required.
- Respond to emergency department consultations related to OB/GYN cases.
- Manage inpatient obstetrical care during call shifts.
- Perform Dilation and Curettage (D&C) procedures when clinically indicated.
- Offer 24-hour call coverage, including both in-house and beeper/phone responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Board Certified OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- BLS and DEA Certification - REQUIRED AT OFFER
- Fellowship training in a relevant specialty - REQUIRED
- Proven experience in labor and delivery and phone triage - REQUIRED
- Ability to perform D&C procedures - REQUIRED
- Clean background and license history - PREFERRED
- Candidates requiring licensure will not be accepted.
License and Certification Requirements
- Active Michigan Medical License at the time of submission - REQUIRED
