Opportunity:
Physician - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
- Gastroenterology coverage needed for weekend call shifts
- Coverage required Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
- Call is 24 hours per day and requires weekend coverage
- Minimum 6 hours on-site required, typically starting at 7:00 AM
- Must be able to cover GI emergencies including ERCP and EUS procedures as needed
- Board Certification required
- Daily patient volume of approximately 1 patient
- NP support staff available to assist with GI coverage
- No routine scopes or colonoscopies on weekends; appropriate clinical judgment on resource utilization is expected
