Position Highlights - Annual ED Volume: 12 000 visits
- Admission Rate: 7%
- Transfer Rate: 4 5%
- Transfers primarily to University of Kentucky (ortho, stroke, higher acuity)
- Coverage: 24 hours of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
- Experienced nursing team with 15+ years of tenure
- ED Beds: 9
- EMR: Epic
- 1099 Independent Contractor Model
- FT, PT & PRN options
Practice Environment - Low-to-moderate acuity with consistent, manageable volume
- Strong nursing support and engaged local leadership
- Efficient workflows with minimal boarding
- Full-scope community EM without high burnout
Qualifications - BE/BC (EM, IM, FM, or GS)
- Kentucky license (or ability to obtain)
- Community ED experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently in a lower-volume setting
