Facility:This is a large 600+ bed facility serving both adult and pediatric patients, operating as a Level II Adult Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The facility is home to a well-established, high-volume neurosurgery practice supported by a team of 5 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers, offering a dynamic and collaborative clinical environment.
Opportunity:Advanced Practice (PA) - Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery
Job Details:- Immediate need for an experienced Neurosurgery NP (First Assist) for a high-volume neurosurgery practice serving adult and pediatric patients
- Position is inpatient rounding with call responsibilities
- Call is rotated among PAs with 1:4/5 weekend call responsibility and 1:4/5 night call responsibility
- Full-time position working 40 hours per week; schedule is M-F with weekend call or 7 on/7 off
- Providers must be able to work a minimum of two weeks per month
- Active Florida license required; licensed in FL only
- Current board certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an advanced practice provider in Neurosurgery with OR experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Local candidates preferred
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-60 days
- Nearest airports: Tampa International and Clearwater/St. Pete
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
