We offer full time and part time positions with competitive wages starting at $15.00 up to $17.50 depending upon experience. Night shift has differential pay.
As a Cook, you do more than follow a recipe. A lot more. Because the food you create could be a mood-changer. Maybe even a day changer. Something delicious that ignites our guests' taste buds just enough to take their minds off their problems. Responsibilities include:
- Prepares food to set recipes following brand standards
- Honors guests' requests for special orders
- Cleans and completes side work, and organizes supplies as required
Essential skills:
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
- Collaborate with Management to prepare meals during dining hours.
- Maintain accurate food inventories.
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of shift.
Cook qualifications and skills:
- At least 1-year experience as a Cook in a family style restaurant industry
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
- ServeSafe or Food Handler Certification preferred but not required.
