Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Physician for an outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Georgia. This is a fantastic short-term assignment offering a structured weekday schedule with no hospital call responsibilities.

Position Overview

Specialty: Cardiology (Internal Medicine)
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Start Date: August 5, 2026
End Date: November 30, 2026
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (no call)

️ Key Responsibilities

Provide outpatient cardiology care
Interpret EKGs and Holter monitors
Manage approximately 14 patients per day
Work within an Epic EMR system

Requirements

Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Cardiology
Active Georgia medical license
Active DEA license required
ACLS & BLS certifications required
Prior outpatient cardiology experience is essential
