Job Title: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology
Join our dynamic team at a premier hospital facility in Lansing, MI, where you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment alongside 3 dedicated Interventional Radiologists and 2 Advanced Practice Providers. Our hospital provides comprehensive Interventional Radiology services with a focus on a day-shift schedule and Q3 call coverage, catering primarily to an adult patient demographic. With a Level I Trauma designation and a supportive staff, this position offers the ideal setting for both professional growth and impactful patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of interventional procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization.
- Conduct needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE).
- Provide on-call coverage every third weekday and weekend as part of a Q3 call schedule.
- Collaborate effectively with the IR team and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Document patient interactions and procedures in compliance with hospital protocols.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology.
- Active State Medical License in Michigan.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong understanding of IR procedures and technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
License and Certification Requirements:
