Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Join a dynamic healthcare environment at a premier hospital in Lansing, Michigan. We are seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to become part of our dedicated team. Our facility provides comprehensive hospital-based IR services with a day-shift schedule, complemented by a Q3 call coverage. We support a diverse adult patient demographic, ensuring you encounter a variety of cases and challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization.
- Conduct needle biopsies and thrombolysis procedures.
- Engage in Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) and other related procedures.
- Collaborate closely with a team of three interventional radiologists and two APPs.
- Provide Q3 call coverage, ensuring patient care continuity.
- Document all cases accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (REQUIRED)
- Active Michigan State Medical License (REQUIRED)
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (REQUIRED)
- Clean malpractice and license history (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Availability based on specified coverage dates (REQUIRED)
- Local providers preferred; out-of-area candidates must commit to 2+ weeks of coverage per month.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
- Active State Medical License (Michigan)
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
