Details are below: Why This Role Ongoing cardiac anesthesia coverage One- to two-week blocks available each month Mix of cardiac and general anesthesia Predominantly structural heart cases Temporary privileges available Any state license accepted Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Practice Setting: Inpatient Weekday Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Weeknight Call: One to two nights per week Weekend Call: 24-hour beeper call Call Setting: Not in-house Call Response Time: 20 minutes Callback Rate: Approximately 10-20% Preferred Availability: One to two weeks per month with weekends Patient Volume: Approximately 5-8 patients per shift Trauma Level: Level II Case Structure: Approximately 80% structural cases and 20% pump cases Solo Cases: Approximately 80% EMR: Cerner Requirements Any state license accepted Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Cardiac anesthesia training and experience Basic or Advanced TEE certification Completion of 30-40 TEEs within the past year ACLS BLS PALS Experience with arterial lines, central lines, and regional blocks No open or pending malpractice cases Clean history Clinical Details Adult general anesthesia Cardiac anesthesia Structural heart procedures Open-heart and pump cases Trauma anesthesia Spinal anesthesia Epidural anesthesia Regional anesthesia Obstetrical anesthesia Neurosurgical anesthesia for head and spine cases Thoracic anesthesia Complex vascular anesthesia Complex orthopedic anesthesia Postoperative epidurals Postoperative extremity blocks Ventilation management Management of acute volume and blood pressure concerns Central line placement Arterial line placement PA catheter placement General anesthesia coverage when cardiac cases are unavailable Next StepsIf you're interested, please send: Updated CV Current availability Active state licenses IMLC Status Preferred rate (We submit whatever rate would make the assignment work for you.
