The facility features a 12-bed department with strong unit and provider support, along with on-site call rooms and nearby hotel accommodations to ensure provider comfort throughout each assignment.
Opportunity:Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:- Locum Tenens opportunity available ASAP on an ongoing basis
- Must hold an active North Carolina medical license with a clean history
- Must have current experience with circumcisions - this is a critical requirement to ensure the unit remains open
- Board certification required; credentialing timeframe is approximately 15 days
- Required certifications include ACLS, PALS, and laser certification
- 3-8 patient encounters per shift within a 12-bed department
- Manage low risk and high risk pregnancies
- Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
- Perform and interpret OB Ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
- Perform amniocentesis procedures
- Conduct routine vaginal deliveries
- Provide decision-making for c-sections
- Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
- Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures such as tubal ligation, LOA's, and chromotubation
- Nearest airport is RDU; on-site call room or local hotel accommodations available
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
