Facility:This well-established hospital is a Level 3 trauma center serving the Northern California coast, featuring a 20-bed Emergency Department with comprehensive support services available around the clock. The facility offers a full range of specialty services including anesthesia, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and a catheterization lab, along with an on-site Labor & Delivery department, making it a robust and well-supported environment for emergency medicine physicians.
Opportunity:Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:- Permanent, full-time Emergency Medicine physician position covering night shifts (9p-6a and 11p-8a)
- Board certified or board eligible within 5 years of residency is required
- Active California medical license required; will consider providers willing to obtain CA licensure
- Level 3 trauma center with a 20-bed Emergency Department
- 24-hour support services available including anesthesia, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and catheterization lab
- Newborn deliveries received in the ED with an on-site Labor & Delivery department
- Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 120 days
