Job description

Laredo Medical Center is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our dynamic medical community.

Position Highlights:

  • 50/50 Hematology and Oncology split.
  • Call coverage available every other week.
  • Access to a hospital-run Infusion Center that has seen 400% growth in the past two years; the physician plays a role in planning but does not manage the center.
  • Opportunity to work alongside Internal Medicine residents who rotate through inpatient rounds.
  • Join an established practice with one other Hem/Onc provider.
  • Office space available with 8 patient rooms, supported by an experienced Clinical Manager and staff.
  • Open to graduating fellows.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
  • No visa support available.

About the Hospital

Laredo Medical Center is a 326-bed acute care hospital serving Laredo and surrounding communities along the Texas-Mexico border. Accredited by The Joint Commission, the hospital provides inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services, emergency and trauma care, comprehensive cardiac services, women's services, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging. The medical center operates as a regional healthcare hub with multiple medical office buildings supporting coordinated patient care.
