ICON Dental is seeking an experienced General or Pediatric Dentist for a locum tenens opportunity in Mobile, Alabama.
Assignment Details
Location: Mobile, Alabama
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 weeks or longer
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Practice Type: Pediatric / DSO
What You ll Do
- Provide bread-and-butter dentistry
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Perform procedures such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients and caregivers on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Provide prescriptions as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories
- Refer patients to specialists, such as orthodontists or oral surgeons, when necessary
- Follow all safety, OSHA, and infection-control standards
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active, unrestricted Alabama dental license or currently in the process of obtaining one
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- DEA registration
- NPI number
Compensation and Benefits
- 1099 independent contractor
