PA - Endocrinology

Job description The Physician Assistant (Endocrinology) will diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the endocrine system, which include the thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands, pituitary and hypothalamus. Consults with supervising physician and abides by appropriate clinical protocols. Reports to the Director of Specialty Care / FNP related to the delivery of medical care for patients with endocrinology conditions. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree from accredited university in a Physician Assistant Program Must have current unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant from the Texas Medical Board Board certified with NCCPA or related Minimum 2 years' experience in Adult Medicine, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Strong experience with EMR/EMR systems Annual continuing medical education as required by board specialty Must be registered and have current DEA Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association Scheduled hours and/or work locations are subject to change
