WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated Neurologist with specialized training in neuromuscular medicine and peripheral nerve disorders to join a new Metabolic Center. This full-time outpatient position offers a collaborative environment with a focus on providing comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care to patients primarily referred from endocrinology.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for patients with peripheral neuropathies, including those with nerve damage due to diabetes.
- Conduct Electromyography (EMG) and other relevant testing.
- Collaborate with an Endocrinologist and three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Participate in a weekly conference every Friday afternoon to discuss cases.
- Maintain a normal office schedule with 32 clinical hours and 8 administrative hours per week.
- Manage an average of 3-4 patients per hour with 15-20 minute appointments.
Requirements
- Fellowship training in Neurology with a focus on Neuromuscular/Peripheral Nerve Disorders.
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification required.
- Valid NY License required.
- Russian language skills preferred, but not required.
- New fellows graduating in the next 12 months are encouraged to apply.
