Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team at WCS Healthcare Partners. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the Rapid Response Team (RRT) and their codes in a closed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting. This position involves managing ICU transfers from the hospitalist floor to the ICU and back, if necessary, while admitting approximately 6-8 patients per shift.

Responsibilities

Oversee the RRT and their codes in a closed ICU environment.
Manage ICU transfers from the hospitalist floor to the ICU and back as needed.
Admit approximately 6-8 patients per shift.
Collaborate with a team of three other nocturnists and support staff, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Work exclusively out of one hospital.

Requirements

Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Internal Medicine (IM).
Valid Connecticut (CT) medical license required.
