Clinical Role
Seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for an ongoing locums opportunity in Petoskey, Michigan. This is an inpatient cardiology and call coverage position with dedicated APP support.
Schedule & Coverage
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
- Coverage: 24-hour call
- Shift: 6:00 am-6:00 am
- Setting: Inpatient with call coverage; no clinic
Procedures & Clinical Skills
- Echocardiography
- Treadmill stress testing
- Chemical stress testing
- Interpretation of diagnostic studies
Support & Systems
- Three inpatient APPs work alongside and support the cardiology provider
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board Certified in Cardiology required
- Active Michigan license required
- Must reside in Michigan or within driving distance of Michigan; drive-in candidates only
- DEA required; verbal confirmation required at name clear
- Clean background required for expedited credentialing; no exceptions
