Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 2 physicians and 4 APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside.
- Work alongside one MD/DO hospitalist during the day, rounding on an average of 12 patients/day.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified PA.
- Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour day shifts with a doctor for collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidates must be comfortable with an open ICU with tele-Intensivist backup.
- See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists available in a small community-based hospital.
- Work in coordination with a tele-intensivist, with the doctor handling all procedures, codes, and rapid responses, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical decision-making
- Utilize EPIC with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.

Rewards and Compensation:
- Compensation: $140,000/year.
- CME allowance.
