Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Job Description:
Client is seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens weekend call assignment in Bellefontaine, OH. This is a low-volume, off-site 24-hour call opportunity with an average of 1 delivery per day, ideal for providers looking to pick up a focused OB call shift without office visit responsibilities.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio

• Call Type: 24-hour OB call (off-site, must be within 30 minutes of hospital)

• Facility: 44-bed hospital with Family Birth Center

• Nursery: Level I

• Average Deliveries: 1 per day

• C-section Rate: 21%

• Support Staff: RNs, RTs, CRNAs, Anesthesiologist, on-site lab & ultrasound

• EMR: Meditech Expanse

Required OB/GYN Procedures:

• Low & high-risk pregnancy management

• Level I OB ultrasound

• Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)

• Routine & complicated vaginal deliveries

• Cesarean section, breech, multiples

• Repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations

• Gynecologic surgery: laparoscopic, open, ectopic, cystectomy, LOAs

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN Required

• Active OH License Required

• NRP Certification Required

• Clean malpractice history Highly Preferred

Credentialing Timeline: Temporary privileges available in 2 weeks
