The Role:

Cardiac Anesthesiologist Needed in Asheville, NC

• Location: Asheville, NC
• 1-2 CV Anesthesia MDs to cover 1-2 weeks per month
• Must be TEE certified
• Average Number of CV cases per day: 10-15
• Assignment duration: 6 months, possibly longer
• Shift Type: 10-12 hours. Regular Hours: Monday-Friday.
• Pager Call: Required. Frequency of call about 15% and may include weeknights and weekends.
• Cases: Cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery, TAVR, CABG, MitraClip
• Site Charting System: Cerner, AIMS
• Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes (mainly supervisory)
• What is the CRNA to MD ratio: 1 MD:3 CRNA or 1 MD:4 CRNA
• Are MDs doing their own cases: Yes, MDs can work their own cases if preferred
